Heel-less platforms from SkyScraperHeels.co.uk

It some sort of adventure to walk in heel-less platforms, but this new unconventional way to wear heels is all in the talk! We have seen loads of celebrities hit the red carpet looking like they're walking on air, now we are seeing them hit the street. I'm not really sure what people call these shoes, Ive searched the internet and found people saying 'heelless shoes' 'hoof shoes' 'platforms' 'gravity defying heels' and so on, I'm just going to call them platforms - since they don't have the heel.

Lady GaGa wearing some studded arch platforms, I'm not so keen on this pair but she wears so many, as we all know shes had quite a few falls but she sure does rock her shoes!

Lady Gaga in platforms for a photo shoot.

Nicole Scherzinger wore Giuseppe Zanotti Platforms

Lucy Hale wore Giuseppe Zanotti Platforms at the Teen Choice Awards

Nicki Minaj wore some amazing, sparkly Platforms for her perfume ads.

Kerry Hilson in Giuseppe Zanotte

I don't like Victoria Justice's dress but her Giuseppe Zanotte platforms are nice!

The evolution of these heels has come so far it's erased the actual heel all together, making it seem impossible to walk in. When infact it's pretty simple! Stars like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Victoria Beckham and Nicki Minaj have been seen wearing these shoes and walking fine like they're in trainers. I've shown my friends these heels and they think they wouldn't be able to walk in them, I think that if you can walk in high heels, you've got a pretty good chance of walking fine in this style. As for one of my friends.. She thought she should try on some plain high heels in New Look's changing rooms. I could tell she couldn't walk in heels at all, then she only went and fell, went flying past the curtains and into the mirror! The girls in the other changing rooms came out to see what had happened since she fell with such a bang!... She will never live that down ;) If your like her, and not good at walking in heels, I'd suggest you practice in normal heels before you jump into a pair of these platforms.

The heels above are from Sky Scraper Heels - They are now in collaboration with ffh too! :D
These shoes are from their 'gaga' range, they are available in a sliver sparkly colour, black suede, nude suede, leopard suede and red suede.
I didn't no which pair to pick from this range as they are all amazing, so I ended up going for a sparkly pair ;D They are 6'2 inch high with spike detail running down the back of the heel, I think that's the perfect finishing touch.

Now as many people have said they look impossible to walk in. They're not. I don't have much space in my room to show you properly either so below I've just filmed a quick thing below of them in a very small space! Notice I don't fall once! I've tried to show the shoes from different angles so you can see what they're like.
You can get these heels here for £24.99
Here is Sky Scraper Heels Twitter

Eleanor Calder's 21st birthday outfit, get her look!

Louis Tomlinson's jetted to his girlfriend Eleanor Calder last week for her birthday where she turned 21. She looked very nice and was enjoying the sunshine when she and her friends went out for some lunch at the Babylon Roof Gardens.

Eleanor wore a sheer tee and a wrap around skirt. She mixed the floaty chiffon with a textured skirt which is so simple but she looks amazing! She wore a loose plait with natural looking waves. She kept her makeup minimum and natural with just a bit of sheer pink lippy and a dash of apricot-toned blusher on her cheeks. Then the look was finished with a bright pink nail polish and lots of silver bracelets and rings. Bracelets are always good :)

I have had a look out for Eleanor's outfit and have found that she put this together from high street finds! So you can get it too if you like her style!

Ella Henderson wearing cat eye sunglasses

Ella Henderson has been spotted wearing some cat eye sunglasses

I saw these sunglasses and thought that they were pretty cool so I have found them and put them on here for all of you.

These cat eye sunglasses are from Chelsea Doll, they are chic, black with gold 'ear' tips on the frames. They come to you 'wrapped in love in pink paper'. It's been pretty sunny in the UK, or if you are anywhere sunny you should always remember to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes! You can't undo the sun damage to your eyes so you should do your best to prevent it.

There are many styles of sunglasses you can get, I see people wearing sunglasses when it's not even sunny. Simply because people also use them as a fashion accessory too and there is nothing wrong with that :)

You can get these sunglasses from Chelsea Doll here
They cost £11

I am going to go now, this was just a quick short one as the last ice cream one was just a short one too :)
Do you like these sunglasses? What is your fave style of sunglasses?

Get your Ne-on!

So summers getting closer, if you live in the UK it's slowely getting warmer. And ifyou live somewhere that it's hot already, I'm well jel! Share your sun! D: With the weather warming up, it's always nice to put some neons into your outfits, not only will you stand out, I love the way almoste glow under the sun!

The celebs are wearing neons and looking fab, and so can you

Neons can look stunning for formal events, and you will defiantly look the part. Who needs a little black dress now? just get your bright colours on, black can be boring!

You can wear neons casually out and about. Although I would avoid wearing too many neon items at once, you dont want to look like the neon monster threw up on you.

Nicki Minaj, what are you doing?! Love your music and all, but oh my gosh! this one is a no no..

Anyway... I'm going to share with you a few neon pieces I've found from around the internet:

E Lulu Neon Lace Skater Dress - £20
This neon pink dress is from boohoo
Skater dresses can be flattering on your figure, they show your waistline and then flare out to accentuate your curves.

Gold Neon Box Chain Necklace - £6.99
This necklace is from internacional
The necklace has pink faceted stones with abstract an arrangement.

Saffron Skater Skirt In Neon Green - £10.99

This skirt is from missguided

The skater skirt is definitely in fashion at the moment, I see so many people wearing them including at college, so you can dress them down. A simple skater skirt, is an every day essential that you can all rock. Rock it with a crop top and killer shoe boots for sexy separates or tuck in a tee and add trainers - converse/vans etc for a feminine twist on the sports luxe trend.

If you like the crop top with the skirt on the picture, you can get that here

Pink neon high tops - £25

These high top shoes are from pretty little thing

You can get these high tops in pink, green or yellow, I love all three colours!
You can wear these high tops with almost anything, leggings, shorts, trousers whatever. I have quite a few pairs of Converse, Hudsen and Rose, Primark shoes that look like red Vans and I wear any of these with anything! I went to the one direction concert in gold mini shorts, black tights and wore a purple pair of Hudson and Rose's, Harry Styles - I saw you and you smiled to me, but next time you shall sign my shoe :D ahaaaa!.. I'm being serious -.- sign my shoe next time you see me. please, or just talk to me I'me toes fine with that ;P

Cameo Rose Neon Yellow Textured Bodycon Dress
This bodycon dress is from newlook
Bodycon dresses aren't just for skinny people, although I do think that with these sometimes they don't do you as much justice as they could. There are some brilliant shape-wears you can pop on underneath that will flatten you out and all that, pull you in a little at the waist.

Do you like any of these pieces I found on the internet? If you have any neon clothing/accessories you love and want to tweet photos to me at https://twitter.com/sammigirl1994 then feel free.

Top picks from 'Jadore vintage'

Jadore Vintage has loads of vintage clothes and a boutique range too. I have walked in some catwalks for vintage boutiques and it's easy to fall in love with a piece of the clothing. And that's obviously the same for many people as vintage clothing keeps on coming back into fashion. I mean I can go buy some striped skinny jeans, and my mum would say she had them when she was younger. Or in the winter when it's all snowy and I go quading, I like to wear odd neon legwarmers, no idea why I do that but it keeps me warm.  My mum would say she use to do that when she was my age. You can see celebrities wearing vintage clothes too, so I saw Jadore Vintage and thought I'd pick out some of my favourites :)

This is the vintage pastel colour floral skirt. Floral clothing is in fashion at the moment, so many shops have floral ranges and they are perfect for the spring/summer.

This is the bleached denim shirt with Aztec shoulder details, I love this shirt, it would look good with skinny jeans, a skater skirt or some shorts.

This is the black PU skater skirt in a flared style. Lots of people at my college are wearing skirts like these with all dirrents tops and jumpers. To be honest I'm not really one to wear skirts, I feel like a bit of a turd, but I actually do like this style that everyone is wearing at the moment. :)

This is the studded skull top, This top is definitely in fashion at the moment. Studs, diamante's, spikes and all that aren't  even really considered as Gothic anymore, so many people are wearing these styles and they can now be worn casually. I have lots of studded clothes, or I can buy shirts and stud them myself. It can be a good way of taking something old, that you may of been going to throw away and making it new and in with the current style.

I love camouflage jacket's although I haven't actually got one yet 'arhh' :(  The camo jacket is definitely in style at the moment and loads of celebs are wearing them at the moment. When I did the catwalk in the London 02, some of the other models had them, and lots of the people shopping had them too; I mean check out these below

I've been looking for a hair band with small flowers on for a while now but I keep coming across whopping big flowers that are way to big just to wear casually. These little flowers are just the right size, I wanted one of these to wear with a huge bun.

If you like any of these items or like the style check out Jadore Vintage Clothing
They have some lovely items :)

Easy 60's hair up-do tutorial

Hi everyone! So I came across this video and I thought I'd share it with you all. It looks pretty easy and I'm going to give it a go myself. I quite like vintage hairstyles, and the big up-do's. If you've read my previous posts you will see the extra large bun ring I purchased. And recently I've been quite fascinated with Amy Winehouse's hairstyle, although I don't think I would actually be brave enough to wear my hair that big. I mean its mahoosive!

makeupwearables

I love this hairstyle, it looks like something you'd go to a salon to do. And why go to a salon if you can do it yourself? Loads of celebs wear hair up-do's like this on the red carpet, it pulls the hair away from the neck and gives the outfit a very elegant look.

Here are the links to buy hair donuts, if you have light hair get the light donut. Dark hair, you get the dark donut. I've added the links to buy the hair donuts in both US Dollars and the British Pound. Once you've bought/got a bun ring there are lots of hair styles you can create.

then you will just need some bobbles/hair bands and bobby pins. Crown and Glory do some lovely hair fascinators.

If you have a go at this hairstyle, please tweet me a picture to my twitter account - https://twitter.com/sammigirl1994 and I may put them on here :) Do you like this style?

Angelica Florence bracelets

So when I came home from college the other day, I had a little box parcel waiting for me :) I do love coming home to open up parcels!  It was a little box, with white tissue paper wrapping up a suede gift bag with two little gifts inside.

Here is the suede bag the jewellery came in

I opened up the two little tissue paper gifts to find these beautiful bracelets, and I do like bracelets :p One is a baby pink shade of glass pearls with a glitter ball as the center bead. The other has white glass pearls and a diamante ball as the center bead.

Here is a close up of the center beads, they are soo nice aren't they?! If you like the Pink Pearl Stardust Bracelet click here to be taken to the page where you can buy it. And if you like the Ivory Pave Glitzy Bracelet click here to go to the page.

On the clasps, both of the bracelets have a charm dangling for even more detail. I found the clasps can a little tricky do do by myself only using the one had ahaa

Here is me wearing the Angelica Florence bracelets. They really are eye catching! I'm not going to wear these every day like I do with about 16 of my other bracelets, because I don't want to damage these, they are too precious :p
They are definitely coming on holiday with me!

There are many celebs wearing Angelica Florence jewellery
Like Dynasty, played by Abby Mavers. All of their products are made to order in your size and specification and will be dispatched as soon as possible. They have so many beautiful jewellery including necklaces, earrings, engraved jewellery and my favourite - the bracelets :) Have a look on their website and let me know what you think :)

Make your own jewellery holder - diy ;)

So I'm a bit of a collector with jewellery, whenever I'm out at the shops I'm fascinated by it. In fact so many times I've bought things I haven't even worn yet.. and I will, one day :P You know, people collect shoes, handbags, mines jewellery, and I always get people commenting on it, I've just counted my bracelets on my arm at the moment and I have 14 beaded ones and a band bracelet my nanny got me. Hahaa, people get me jewellery, and sometimes I put it on my arm and it becomes part of the bracelet family, they all have a specific order on my wrist.

And if you love fashion, I'm sure you've saw at least one celebrity's wardrobe or shoe closet? am I right? I like watching 'Show Me Your Closet' on sky, some celebs wardrobes are to die for! omgoshh, it's not even the stuff in it that amazes me the most, it's the way they store and arrange everything. I mean check this one out on the left. I think this is just a little bit of Miley Cyrus's shoe store...

I have loads of jewellery hung all over a lamp, I don't even use the lamp anymore it's too covered. Then it's got my flowery straw hat on the top. I've got jewellery in multiple draws, jewelry boxes and all that. And because all this diy stuff is pretty cool at the moment I thought I'd have a look at some different ways you can store and display jewellery, because I don't like it to be just stuffed in a box.

This is pretty cool, although I don't think it'd hold hardly anything of my mahoosive jewellery collection! But its good for rings and hand jewellery. You can buy these in stores, but they can be quite expensive. And why buy it when you can make it yourself really cheap?!

The solution is made from plaster of Paris  which you can buy at a lot of stores. Id'e get it from ebay <- click on eBay  I've linked it up to a page selling it. It's only £2.90 and you get 500grams! There should be instructions on the plaster of Paris of how to make the solution easily. Then, get a thick rubber glove; preferably a kitchen washing up glove. These are good as you'll get the wrist in the mold too so you can put bracelets on it. When the solution has set completely, just role the rubber glove off the mold. Obviously it'll just be plain white, but you can spray paint it silver or something like that and varnish it after if you want it to have a high shine. Or you could get lots of rhinestones and dazzle it, there's so much you could do!

I quite like this idea, although I'm not into old 'shabby sheek' as some call it? So I'd change this up a bit, you could use a draw you don't want anymore, paint it if you want. But I'd start from scratch, measure and cut everything first obviously. I would sand everything down so it's smooth, and spray paint it all the four outer wood pieces, spray paints thinner than normal paint and a lot easier to do. Then I'd varnish the four outer pieces. On the inner pieces, Id wrap it in sparkly material and fix it in place. Then construct this main shape and fix them all together with nails. Use corks or some sparkly cupboard knobs/handles and fix them to the back board. You could make the little pots, or buy them and label them.  If you like my idea, then I hope you have fun making it, I'm going to :)

*wear gloves when making the hand model and using the plaster of paris. Don't put your hands in the plaster of paris, as it can reach temperatures of 60 degrees inside when setting. If your young, then ask an adult to help you out :)
