getting beady with it

Hi!
Hope your all good! :) I am slowly recovering a little every day... Although still not managed to not fall asleep in the daytime yet. I'm going to go into work tomorrow I think, hopefully it won't be too much for me or it'll be a long day! :s

This post was planned to be up weeks ago but with all of the complications all posts had to be postponed so many apologies for that, and near future posts may be slow too (read the previous post for more info)

Back to the post! Summer is almost here and the weather is warming up. This year I'm really into the boho styles in general; hair styles, clothing, jewellery etc. Personally I think beads, feathers and things like that are a total match for this trend and also the season. Whenever I go on holiday I wear beads, even if its a beaded anklet - I'm a sucker for anklets too I have sterling silvers, handmade, beaded, chains... I like them ;P

This piece came in a sealed plastic with the babi-online card inside too. The packaging is pretty simple, which totally works!

This is a close up of the piece, the bracelet is made from brown and purple wood and silver beads.

Above is me wearing the bracelet.. I'm still ill and have like, black eyes so I cut them off ahaha

I really like this bracelet, it's adjustable too so it fits my tiny wrists :)
The bracelet is bang on trend, I mean literally all the clothes shops I've been in lately has some beaut ranges of clothes, shoes, jewellery and bikinis and accessories *swoooon*

If you like this bracelet you can get it here for £5.00
Babi-Online is currently one of FashionFixHunter's collabs so you will be seeing more from them! :)

Hottt Rhinestone Tag Bracelet

If you've saw the Hotttshit.com posts I have done before, you should no that Hotttshit have been re-branded and are now known as Hottt.com.
I have been away for a few days in London on a business trip and had no internet so I hadn't replied to emails or made any posts on here - apologies!
Anyway, I was sent a Rhinestone Tag Bracelet from Hottt.com which I am in love with! I love wearing it, personally I think the quality is immense, it looks pretty expensive!
Hottt.com donate a portion of their sales to charity every month and if you 'like' them on Facebook they will donate an additional 5 cents. You can get more information on their monthly selected charity by signing up to their email newsletter.

This is the tag bracelet. I'm sure we've all bought some sort of jewellery with rhinestones that just look fake, don't sparkle or just look dull? I can tell you now that this bracelet is none of those! The rhinestones are light and shiny, catch the light and each twinkles away.

The chain is large links, with the right shade of gold, not too shiny neither.

I really really, really love this bracelet! XD
I've wore it and I've been asked 'who's the lucky guy that got you that then?' *I'm a loner, don't have a guy to buy me jewellery :P*
If you would like to get this bracelet you can get it here from Hottt.com for only $17 $8!

Do you like this bracelet? Have you got anything from Hottt?

If you haven't already please join this blog (under the followers tab on the right near the top)
You can be kept up to date with future posts, competitions etc.

Lion Hotttshit!

Hii!
I've been overloaded with emails and parcels from companies, which I'm sure you will love!
So I've been pretty busy organizing everything, photographing etc
It was my birthday on Friday, I'm not at college on Friday's which was lucky! :D
I'm going shopping tomorrow to spend my birthday dosh ;)
Also not being at college on Friday was good because I could recover from embarrassment, I won't go into details, but oh my! Never been that embarrassed in my life, my friend was laughing so much her laugh turned silent and she could barely get up the stairs -.-

Anyway... ;)
Here is a parcel from Hotttshit, the jewellery came in a small gift box with a shiny sleeve which completes the look.

I received a golden Lion bracelet as you can see in the box above.

I haven;t worn lion jewellery before, to be honest I haven't come across any in store either. I do find this strange as you can buy leopards etc, if anything a Lion is more fierce and fits well with the trends. It looks great worn with studded jewellery/clothing or on it's own as a statement piece.  The bracelet has a lobster clasp which is easy to fasten up yourself, I do find some bracelet to be a little tricky.

The lion medallion was inspired by the Roman time, they used lions commonly for many reasons.
Many images from ancient times portray lionesses as the fierce warrior protecting their culture, and in many cultures the lion is the emblem of earthly power, strength, dignity, courage, and royalty. It is the king of the beasts and of the jungle. Admiration for the lion's masculine strength and courage caused it to be the insignia of the Roman legions.
Another ancient belief was that the lion slept with its eyes open, being wise and all knowing it could protect even when it's body lay asleep. The lion symbolized courage, royalty, strength, vigilance, justice, valor, fertility, pride, protection, and conquest. Also in the Orient he is believed to protect people from demons... I find this interesting so I thought I would share it with you so you know a bit about Lion's cultural backgrounds :D

I think the quality of this bracelet is really good, especially for the price.
If you believe in all the 'protecting' properties of lion's then this is also a beautiful piece for that. Otherwise, like me I wear it as a statement piece. It would look faboo with a little black dress ;)
I have done a review of Hotttshit's rock paper scissors double ring here if you haven't saw that already.

This bracelet costs $15 and you can get it here
From Hotttshit
Here is Hotttshit's twitter

If you haven't already, please join as a member on this blog, you can do that under the followers tab at the top of the right sidebar and you can join with your email, twitter or blogger/google+ accounts :) I have a competition coming up and you must be a member to enter :D

What do you think of this bracelet? Do you have any lion jewellery? Have you got any jewellery from Hotttshit?

The Popband review

So the other day I got hope from college and a parcel was waiting for me. My mum had put it on the table, and when I see a parcel that looks like this, it's pretty exciting!
(The center sticker had my address on which I have taken off)
It is a bright pink shiny parcel envelope and I had no idea what it was as I've got quite a few collaborations coming in.

The parcel was from Popband! :)
And this is what was inside, a multipack and a twin pack which I will gives the links to later.
Popband claim to have a product which won't snag your hair as some hair bands do, they claim that when you remove the band there won't be kinks left on your hair where the band has been - which is always really annoying! I have been in catwalks before where I have had to have my hair up, and I'm conscious when taking it down as I'm in public. It looks stupid with kinks in your hair. They also claim that popbands wont slip or rip out of your hair.

This is a twin set which is called the silver fox. It has a hair band with a cute crystal bead on to add a little detail. It also has a head band in the same colour so you could wear them together. This set costs £6 and you can get it here.
(and a sneaky peak of the nail tutorial I will be posting, shhh)

The pink, yellow and purple and mint bands are from the 'pop' multipack which is also £6, you get 5 bands in this pack. All of the bands when not in your hair can be worn on the wrist as a bracelet or just to add some colour to an outfit. You can get the pop multipack here

Now, because the popband 'claims' to not leave any dents/kinks or snag the hair, I decided to put it to the test. I wasn't going easy on this product because they have such certain claims that I thought, well they have got to be true if they emphasize this point so much.

I put my hair up in a high ponytail using the yellow band from the pop multipack. I wore this band for the whole day to see what the results were. It didn't slip out of my hair, which a lot of bands do due to me having thin, straight hair. I also tried sleeping with my hair up in this band, and beside having my head messy (as all bands leave hair messy during sleep), the band remained in place. When I took the band out this is the result...

(Trying to take a photo of the back of my head was pretty hard) The band came out easily without snagging any of my hair, and it left no dents/kinks in the hair!
This product is a must have! Popband have loads of different styles you can get, and I reccomend you do, I'll be taking these on holiday so I can tie my hair up and not bother about kinks, I will have one of these on my wrist daily so I can tie my hair on when on the computers at college too.

I'm going to go now and get my dinner, let me know what you think of the popbands! Do you like the colours? Do kinks in your hair annoy you that normal hair bands leave you with? Let me know :)

Angelica Florence bracelets

So when I came home from college the other day, I had a little box parcel waiting for me :) I do love coming home to open up parcels!  It was a little box, with white tissue paper wrapping up a suede gift bag with two little gifts inside.

Here is the suede bag the jewellery came in

I opened up the two little tissue paper gifts to find these beautiful bracelets, and I do like bracelets :p One is a baby pink shade of glass pearls with a glitter ball as the center bead. The other has white glass pearls and a diamante ball as the center bead.

Here is a close up of the center beads, they are soo nice aren't they?! If you like the Pink Pearl Stardust Bracelet click here to be taken to the page where you can buy it. And if you like the Ivory Pave Glitzy Bracelet click here to go to the page.

On the clasps, both of the bracelets have a charm dangling for even more detail. I found the clasps can a little tricky do do by myself only using the one had ahaa

Here is me wearing the Angelica Florence bracelets. They really are eye catching! I'm not going to wear these every day like I do with about 16 of my other bracelets, because I don't want to damage these, they are too precious :p
They are definitely coming on holiday with me!

There are many celebs wearing Angelica Florence jewellery
Like Dynasty, played by Abby Mavers. All of their products are made to order in your size and specification and will be dispatched as soon as possible. They have so many beautiful jewellery including necklaces, earrings, engraved jewellery and my favourite - the bracelets :) Have a look on their website and let me know what you think :)

Dice bracelet from BeadedBazaar

I recieved this lovely bracelet from BeadedBazaar who handmake all of their jewellery, they have lots of really cool pieces!

This is what the bracelet came in, it's a really nice silkiy gift bag. It's nearly christmas so they would make great gifts :)

Below is a photo of the bracelet close up. I absolutely love this bracelet! I do have really thin wrists so it is a little big for me, but it will do :) The bracelet has dice beads, black crystal beads, and gold beads that are really finely detailed and almoste look like lace.

Below is a photo of the golden clasp, it's nice and easy do do and not fiddly like some bracelets can be. If you like this bracelets like this you can get them from http://beadedbazaar.weebly.com/bracelets.html their stock is always changing, with new handmade items. And it's nice because they tell you a bit about how they actually made the bracelet too.

Kerrys jewellery - review and photos

I recieved a parcel from Kerrys Jewellery when I got back from my holidays, which was a nice surprise! Any way I opened it up and heres what was inside...
There were lots of these cute little gift bags and I got really excited, if anybody loves jewellery.. It's me. I mean I wear bracelets and bandshalf way up my arm! I have no idea why I do it, but hey. Some girls love shoes and bags, and I love my jewellery! :)

Anyway, I have removed my jewellery and I'm ready to test out Kerrys Jewellery
Below is the bracelets I got from them, you could wear them all seperately but they look great all together! I've had some bracelets before (not cheap ones) and the elestic in them was really thin, literally like stretchy cotton. But these bracelets all have a thicker elasticand I doubt they will end up snapping! I was trying to think which one is my favourite, but I can't choose. The first bracelet (butterfly one) has these beads that are half blue/orange and that's a cool effect, I think it's like day and night. The four bracelets at the bottom all sparkle when the light hits them. The second to bottom, has a buttery charm on it too, and gems which I love :)

So I'vc not long been back from Turkey, and UEngland is really depressing - there's no sun, no swimming pool, no sea, it's too cold, I miss my friends and the food! I could keep listing reasons, but I'm wearing my sunglasses and pretending it's sunny :) Anyway in the picture is a necklace with matching turcoise beads to the bracelet. I think it's a great necklace to take on holiday, as its got pearly shells on it which I love to wear when I'm on holiday. It has elastic holding it together so it's stretchy...

Beacause it has elastic holding it together, you can wrap it around your wrist to create a layered bracelet. I wouldn't usually do this becasue each layer is usually the same, and that's to plain for me. But because this necklace has a range of beads, shells and gems, it creates a really nice bracelt that is different on every layer.

My camera is running out of power now with all the photo's I have taken today ahaa :) I managed to get one photo before it turned off and it will take ages to charge up now.. But here is another necklace (apologies for the manky lipstick stained wood, my sister got makeup all over the dressing table!) I love this necklace, it has cute little charms scattered around like boat wheels, butterflies, I'm going to say the other one is an anchor?... Well it goes with the theme, so it can be an anchor :) You can't wrap this one round your wrist as it has metal wire holding it together, but its a great necklace! :)

If you like any of this jewellery please go to Kerry's jewellery shop - click on the link, or use their widget portal down the side of the blog. Which piece of jewellery is your favourite? Anyway got to go now, very busy :)
