Take a walk on the wild side...

Hiiii! How are you all? Just a quick update on the last post where I said I had an interview... I got the job :D It's somewhere super nice - a woodland holiday destination, and its a lovely place to take photos and I just love it there :)

back to the post, I am loving animal prints at the moment.. Well actually I always love animal prints. I often find myself wearing animal prints and not even noticing, like at college a use a Dalmatian print bag, shoes with leopard print on, tops with leopards or tigers on, my new edition was the lion leggings and now....I got these lovely shoes from SkyScraperHeels

These shoes have leopard print faux suede material. They have the zips on the inside, which I much prefer them there than on the back of the shoe.
I love studs and spikes and the back of the shoe has lots of gold ones!

You can dress these shoes up, I think they would look gorj with a black dress, or you can dress them down with a nice pair of skinny jeans! The platform blends into the rest of the shoe and I find them comfy and super easy to walk in so if your not so keen on heels then try these!

The big cats are making a comeback in fashion, or did they ever actually go out?
I don't think they ever will go out of fashion because they are so versatile, they can look sweet, edgy, sophisticated or glamorous - it's how you wear it that makes the difference!

Now, you can wear it without looking like you are crazy, I'm not going to name and shame any celebrities right now but believe me. There are plenty.

A good way without being OTT is to go for accessories, sunglasses, handbags, shoes to spice up an outfit. Rosie Huntington Whitley is rocking that bag, Kelly Rowland has a basic dress with leopard wedges to give her look an edge and I love Fergie's outfit too!

If you like these shoes you can get them here for £24.99 now £17.99!! *in sizes 3-8*

What do you think of these shoes? Would you wear them? Have you got a pair like this?

P.S.

Heel-less platforms from SkyScraperHeels.co.uk

It some sort of adventure to walk in heel-less platforms, but this new unconventional way to wear heels is all in the talk! We have seen loads of celebrities hit the red carpet looking like they're walking on air, now we are seeing them hit the street. I'm not really sure what people call these shoes, Ive searched the internet and found people saying 'heelless shoes' 'hoof shoes' 'platforms' 'gravity defying heels' and so on, I'm just going to call them platforms - since they don't have the heel.

Lady GaGa wearing some studded arch platforms, I'm not so keen on this pair but she wears so many, as we all know shes had quite a few falls but she sure does rock her shoes!

Lady Gaga in platforms for a photo shoot.

Nicole Scherzinger wore Giuseppe Zanotti Platforms

Lucy Hale wore Giuseppe Zanotti Platforms at the Teen Choice Awards

Nicki Minaj wore some amazing, sparkly Platforms for her perfume ads.

Kerry Hilson in Giuseppe Zanotte

I don't like Victoria Justice's dress but her Giuseppe Zanotte platforms are nice!

The evolution of these heels has come so far it's erased the actual heel all together, making it seem impossible to walk in. When infact it's pretty simple! Stars like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Victoria Beckham and Nicki Minaj have been seen wearing these shoes and walking fine like they're in trainers. I've shown my friends these heels and they think they wouldn't be able to walk in them, I think that if you can walk in high heels, you've got a pretty good chance of walking fine in this style. As for one of my friends.. She thought she should try on some plain high heels in New Look's changing rooms. I could tell she couldn't walk in heels at all, then she only went and fell, went flying past the curtains and into the mirror! The girls in the other changing rooms came out to see what had happened since she fell with such a bang!... She will never live that down ;) If your like her, and not good at walking in heels, I'd suggest you practice in normal heels before you jump into a pair of these platforms.

The heels above are from Sky Scraper Heels - They are now in collaboration with ffh too! :D
These shoes are from their 'gaga' range, they are available in a sliver sparkly colour, black suede, nude suede, leopard suede and red suede.
I didn't no which pair to pick from this range as they are all amazing, so I ended up going for a sparkly pair ;D They are 6'2 inch high with spike detail running down the back of the heel, I think that's the perfect finishing touch.

Now as many people have said they look impossible to walk in. They're not. I don't have much space in my room to show you properly either so below I've just filmed a quick thing below of them in a very small space! Notice I don't fall once! I've tried to show the shoes from different angles so you can see what they're like.
You can get these heels here for £24.99
Here is Sky Scraper Heels Twitter

What do you think of these heels from Sky Scraper Heels? Have you tried walking in this style of shoe? Have you got a pair?

The Lady Is A Vamp

It's October... That means Halloween is coming! If your feeling the vibe you might want to check this out!
Selena Gomez previously wore this lace Gothic dress which I think is so on trend right now. I think the short at the front and long at the back is a really nice style and means you don't have to reveal to much. - This is a style that so many stores on the high street are inspired by and are now recreating this kind of look, especially with the lace on the neck, although I think some stores are going a little OTT with the lace necks.

Three of the Saturdays vamped it up..
lashings of black lace and dark vampy makeup, they almost look like they're from a scene from ace 90s Gothic chic flick The Craft! (That's is a good thing)

Below I have selected some vampy looks from Daisy Street

1. Playsuit - £22.99
2. Black glitter skirt - £16.99
3. Jumpsuit - £29.99. This jumpsuit would look great with lots of gold bracelets and/or arm cuff.
4. Velvet dress - £16.99
5. Split Maxi - £14.99

If you like the vamp trend, there are many ways you can wear this without going full on goth - unless you want to go full on goth of course. You could wear a vampy outfit, with natural makeup. You could add vampy accessories to everyday outfits, I find myself wearing big studs and spikes as a casual look but it gives your outfit that edge. Vamp looks great as evening wear with lashings of gold jewellery too.

If you like the vampy makeup from most of the pictures above, I found a video on YouTube (it's not mine) The video belongs to MissSenay1, she has loads more makeup tutorials inspired by celebrity looks, trends and Halloween special effects. If you like this tutorial, please go subscribe to her :)

What do you think of the Vamp trend?

More Daisy Street £4.99 sales!

I posted abut Daisy Street's shoe sales before, but I've checked through the site again and they have updated their sale again, so I'll share with you some of my fave pieces from their sale again :)

ds1
These 'Pauline' peep toes were £29.99 and now they are only £4.99
They have a soft suede material with a rose detail on the toe with red piping around the shoe, contrasting with the black suede - quite striking! They will look great dressed down with jeans, a basic tee & boyfriends blazer or glam them up with a little black dress and lashings of gold jewellery.
You can get these here

These 'Aine' leopard print high tops are perfect for festivals, you can toughen up a dress with these and a leather jacket, or wear them casual with jeans/leggings etc.
These was £24.99 and now they are £4.99!
you can get them here
skhd
'Zenadine satin rose front sandals look great worn dressed down with jeans, or glam them up again with a little black dress. They are a satin material with rose detail on the toes. These also come in blue and black but I think the red ones are the best. If I was to wear heels, I'd go for pretty high ones (even though I'm tall enough), but I guess it's always a good idea to have some lower pairs in.
These was £24.99 and are now £4.99!
You can get these here

That's a few pairs of shoes for you to check out, do you like any? Which are your faveourite? are there any in the £4.99 sale you love and I haven't mentioned?
I am going to do the write next post in a minute, with some Claire's bargains! Keep a look out!

I'm starting back at college on Tuesday *booooooo* :(
So I will be pretty busy, but don't worry, the blog will keep going, I will just have to swap the schedule around a little. I'm not really looking forward to going back to college, I mean I was because I miss some of my friends, but, like, well, some people just annoy me. I can't help it, I won't go into details but, I like to have a laugh and if people are just -.- then no, just no. Aqua Colour Phase

Usually I like to wear pink, but for some reason this summer I'm getting into the Aqua colour. I saw this moodboard and I thought how nice the colours are and then I thought I should do a post about it!

Aqua clothes looks sooo nice on tanned skin! It goes well on others but I find that at the moment while I look like the milky bar kid, it doesn't look as good on tanned or even dark skin. It stands out more the darker the skin is, it's definitely a summer colour. So while us pale girls are trying to tan up so we can pull this colour off properly, if your already tanned get this colour on you will look fab and summer ready!

Festival footwear - wellies, my faves

So there's loads of festivals coming up, I admit I've never been to one (shameful) but saying that I only went to my first concert this February, which was One Direction :D
Anyway I just read about all of the festivals in the magazines, I buy quite a lot.. And ones I dont buy I read as much of in stores, doctors etc I don't even care how old they are!
One thing that always stands out about footwear is wellies, maybe this is because of the miserable English weather? I don't no.

Here's some wellies I thought were good for this years festivals:

Cheap

These are 'Bow front low wellies'  which have come into fashion, they are a little more girly, so if tall wellies are too boring for you then try some of these. There are girls at my college that wear these to college, they are fashionable and can be worn on a daily basis.
You can get these from AX Paris for £14

These are 'JuJu jellies ribbon welly boots'
You can get these from USC for £10

If you want something a little more colorful then you could try these 'Viva La Diva printed' pinkish floral wellie boots
You can get these from SimplyBe for £12.50

Middle priced

These are  'South Oliver glow in the dark wellington boots'. I love the fact these wellies glow in the dark, you can get them in pink or yellow. I had been finding these for £25 across the internet but found the exact pair for £5 cheaper!
You can get these from Very for £20

I love yellow, and these wellies will deffo stand out in a crowd... unless someone has the same as you :o
They are made by Barbour and are £50

Splash out!
If you've got enough money to have a little splash out, then check out these buys!

These are Hunter tall festival wellies, they are pretty plain with colour pop buckles down the back which looks really effective.
You can get these from TopShop for £155

These are Red Valentino 'Bow Ankle Wellies', similar to the cheaper option but these are pretty wowzers!
If you like these and you got the wonga to buy them with you can get them from FarFetch for £116.69
