A day at Ingoldmells

 So on Saturday we decided to go to Ingoldmells because it looked like it would be a nice day. We set off about 8:30am in the morning to beat the traffic.

I watched Princess Diaries 1 and 2 on the way there and back. That film never gets old!

You always know you're nearly there when you see the roller coasters towering above the buildings!

The amount of arcades and chip shops there is unbelievable! But this casino/arcade was pink!... I like pink! Whenever we go in these, we go in thinking 'I'll only spend this much' but then we end up spending much more because you think if you put more in then you get your money back. And then when you go to the machine to get more change, you get the staff going up to the machine you was using and pushing everything back!! What the hell?! HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?!

I saw some wicked belt buckles, I picked up that golden gun one, if I had of put that on my trousers, it was so heavy it definitely wouldn't hold your trousers up, It'd pull them down! 

There were some flat peak hats that were extremely heavily embellished! they had all different styles, and they look similar to the ones that www.missguided.co.uk did. I think they were pretty cool but they're not really the sort of thing you'd actually wear like on a normal day? I have saw celebrities wear ones like these, but they wear anything and it looks normal.

I got these neon coral skinny jeans the other week which I paired with my zebra/leopard/yellow custom converse I designed myself, yes I wanted some that no one else had so they look a bit bonkers :p ohh well :D

I got this One Direction wrist band that say's 'Thats what makes you beautiful'. They had so many different designs, like ones with ones of the boys names on like 'I love Harry' I wanted that one, but my little brothers called harry and he was like 'why are you getting one with my name on? so I stuck with this one, and it was only a pound! Bargain :)

I also got this extra large bun ring, which is literally mahoosive! It's quite good for my hair too as I've got long hair and I hate tiny buns that dont show your hair is long, I'd rather put it up in a huge bun so people can see you've got long hair. It was £4 so that's pretty good :)

TThey did have these buns in a range of different colours, but none of them matched my hair colour. These were £12, so it's more expensive, but you simply put your hair in a high pony, tie it up. You just clip this one over the top and you've got a perfect bun that quickly with no messing about. You can get both of these bun accessories, you go into the market and when you see the indoor market, go in there. Its the first bit you see as you walk in, they have loads of different hair accessories and clip on pieces etc.

yesterday was May day..

So yesterday was May day, and so we went to the maypole celebration and the crowning of the may queen.

I think it's really nice that lots of people can come together for an event like this, I mean it's not for everyone. Weve brought some of our friends from a town here, and they didn't like it. They're use to the fast pace, modern sort of atmosphere. This, well it's a load of country people having fun, doing not much :p

There was an bird display, with birds such as kestrels, European eagle owls, buzzards, snowy owls - which are absolutely beautiful. I got to hold the european eagle owl, the photo is below :)

He weighed about 6 pounds, that's 6 bags of sugar! and it stepped off the bird handling glove onto my arm! ... It has big sharp claws :o I really really want one! :D

I am probably completely missing the point here, but every year we go to the May day celebration; there are lots of people wearing trousers, blouses, waist coats and ribbon tied to them with paint all over their face. They jump around jingling bells in your face and swinging their arms above their heads looking a bit crazy, but heyy if their having fun, them them carry on! I should research into why they are doing this and wearing that, but to be honest I find it more amusing just watching them jump around like fools, it's more funny because you have no idea what they're doing ahaa 

I saw so many dogs there, there were big dogs with owners who weren't even strong enough to control them, little dogs that keep getting stood on and all that.. :S But a this staffy has only three legs! It made me think, some people have their dog put down if it needs a leg off. Not always because of the cost, but sometimes because they think it's cruel or they just don't want a dog with 3 legs. Well I'm telling you now, I didn't even notice this dog had only 3 legs, it was happy and just like any other dog. You don't put a person down with a disability so why a dog? Everyone has the same rights, and they can be just as happy. I like animals and dogs though, so someone who doesn't like them would probably have a different view..

This was the queue to the ice cream van, what theee..?! So we decided not to have an ice cream after all. And the other ice cream van had a queue twice as long!

There was some music being played, and one of the guy's (wearing red) instrument was a sweeping brush.. yes you read that right 0.o It had some sort of elastic band wrapped around it and there he is just strumming his sweeping brush. I got to admit, he was strumming quite a tune too! I heard people who were watching who said they're going to make their own, and I had never saw anything like it :S

Angelica Florence bracelets

So when I came home from college the other day, I had a little box parcel waiting for me :) I do love coming home to open up parcels!  It was a little box, with white tissue paper wrapping up a suede gift bag with two little gifts inside.

Here is the suede bag the jewellery came in

I opened up the two little tissue paper gifts to find these beautiful bracelets, and I do like bracelets :p One is a baby pink shade of glass pearls with a glitter ball as the center bead. The other has white glass pearls and a diamante ball as the center bead.

On the clasps, both of the bracelets have a charm dangling for even more detail. I found the clasps can a little tricky do do by myself only using the one had ahaa

Here is me wearing the Angelica Florence bracelets. They really are eye catching! I'm not going to wear these every day like I do with about 16 of my other bracelets, because I don't want to damage these, they are too precious :p

LyliaRose necklace

So Yesterday I got home to find a little parcel envelope at he door. I saved it for now to open it up to find a gift from LyliaRose - a new collaboration :) here's their website http://www.lyliarose.com/

 Here is a beautiful butterfly necklace LyliaRose sent me. I was struggling to get a clear photo of it, my camera isn't too good now and I need to get a new one. The necklace has a range of blue tones, and sparkly rhinestones that catch the light really nice. It has a chain that is a deep bronze tone which gives it a bit of a vintage look.

who's Eyebrows?

So I got a bit distracted today when I was doing my coursework. I spotted a photo of someone with an owl and I thought hey, that owls got eyebrows just like her, and then I went on as I do and thought I'd share some of the photos with you :p

Here is the one that started me off, see that middle owl, it has brows like her. Do you know who it is?

When I first saw this guy on XFactor, he had longer, biebery hair. We called him eyebrows, but XFactor styled him, and look now :P no who this is?

I'm sure you all know who this guy is? 

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag, wanting to start again? Who's this? 

Mama told me not to waste my life - whoss this?

Oh and the last photo, the eyebrows have been removed. 

hahaaaa! it looks a little scary! don't worry harry, people wont take off your real eyebrows ;p

I'm going to go now, I have to re-do all of my course work I did today. Because my little brother came home from school, and my mum wouldn't let him go on the PlayStation. Sooo... he decided he would turn my laptop off at the wall, I hadn't saved my work and now I've lost all of the work I've done. Brilliant. That's little brothers for you, or is it just mine that enjoys being a turd?

Make your own jewellery holder - diy ;)

So I'm a bit of a collector with jewellery, whenever I'm out at the shops I'm fascinated by it. In fact so many times I've bought things I haven't even worn yet.. and I will, one day :P You know, people collect shoes, handbags, mines jewellery, and I always get people commenting on it, I've just counted my bracelets on my arm at the moment and I have 14 beaded ones and a band bracelet my nanny got me. Hahaa, people get me jewellery, and sometimes I put it on my arm and it becomes part of the bracelet family, they all have a specific order on my wrist.

And if you love fashion, I'm sure you've saw at least one celebrity's wardrobe or shoe closet? am I right? I like watching 'Show Me Your Closet' on sky, some celebs wardrobes are to die for! omgoshh, it's not even the stuff in it that amazes me the most, it's the way they store and arrange everything. I mean check this one out on the left. I think this is just a little bit of Miley Cyrus's shoe store...

I have loads of jewellery hung all over a lamp, I don't even use the lamp anymore it's too covered. Then it's got my flowery straw hat on the top. I've got jewellery in multiple draws, jewelry boxes and all that. And because all this diy stuff is pretty cool at the moment I thought I'd have a look at some different ways you can store and display jewellery, because I don't like it to be just stuffed in a box.

This is pretty cool, although I don't think it'd hold hardly anything of my mahoosive jewellery collection! But its good for rings and hand jewellery. You can buy these in stores, but they can be quite expensive. And why buy it when you can make it yourself really cheap?!

The solution is made from plaster of Paris  which you can buy at a lot of stores. Id'e get it from ebay <- click on eBay  I've linked it up to a page selling it. It's only £2.90 and you get 500grams! There should be instructions on the plaster of Paris of how to make the solution easily. Then, get a thick rubber glove; preferably a kitchen washing up glove. These are good as you'll get the wrist in the mold too so you can put bracelets on it. When the solution has set completely, just role the rubber glove off the mold. Obviously it'll just be plain white, but you can spray paint it silver or something like that and varnish it after if you want it to have a high shine. Or you could get lots of rhinestones and dazzle it, there's so much you could do!

I quite like this idea, although I'm not into old 'shabby sheek' as some call it? So I'd change this up a bit, you could use a draw you don't want anymore, paint it if you want. But I'd start from scratch, measure and cut everything first obviously. I would sand everything down so it's smooth, and spray paint it all the four outer wood pieces, spray paints thinner than normal paint and a lot easier to do. Then I'd varnish the four outer pieces. On the inner pieces, Id wrap it in sparkly material and fix it in place. Then construct this main shape and fix them all together with nails. Use corks or some sparkly cupboard knobs/handles and fix them to the back board. You could make the little pots, or buy them and label them.  If you like my idea, then I hope you have fun making it, I'm going to :)

*wear gloves when making the hand model and using the plaster of paris. Don't put your hands in the plaster of paris, as it can reach temperatures of 60 degrees inside when setting. If your young, then ask an adult to help you out :)

billboard music awards 2013, favourite & least favourite dresses on the blue carpet

So yesterday was the billboard music awards, and all the celebs were rolling up on the red blue carpet. I was looking at their outfits thinking they're some pretty nice ones but then I noticed there were some... not so nice ones. I'm not usually one to comment on what I don't like about peoples clothes, but loads of fashion blogs are judging them, so heyy, I'll join in ;)

My favorites

Ariana's wore a little black dress, it's got a strapless fitted bodice and a loose skater skirt. The dress is beautiful with a flowery lace detail, and I thinks it's definitely at the top of my favourites list!

















Jennifer Lopez 

Jennifer Lopez is wearing a super sparkly, curve-hugging, body-baring dress - sparkled in a Zuhair Murad glittering gold gown completed with a plunging neckline and sheer bottom. Jennifer looks fab, so she's showing some skin but she still manages to make it look elegant and all that. I love he effect of the sheer bottom material with the gold sparkles almost falling.

nicki minaj 
So Nicki's get her boobs in your face,  but it's actually pretyy refined.to her usual fashion choices. She Opts for a sweeping red dress, there's absolutely no way you could miss her in the crowd. It looks really nice with her more natural hair style. Love Nicki Minaj's music and I always thinks she dresses a little crazy but so what?! This just prooves she can wear something a little more simple and still look fab.

Least favourites

So this is the bit I don't really like doing, but me and my friend was looking through some of the blue carpet photo's we starting being very picky, and the things we we judging were, well... stupid

LaLa

LaLa was wearing some crazy, I don't even know what to call it. The outfit/dress/thing is strange but the thing we thought was really weird was whatever shes got on her feet, you know at parties when you put cheese and pinaple on a stick and stick them in a foil covered potato?  Yeah well that's all we could think of when we saw her 'shoes'. 0.o

Alyssa Milano 

I saw this white embroidered one-shoulder tunic in the EMILIO PUCCI SPRING 2013. The tunic looks nice, but with the semi-sheer wide leg pants, were not to sure about that..

Taylor swifts feet

Now this is something stupid again haha.. I like some of Taylor's music, I do try not to but I find myself singing along. Anyway she wore a blue sparkly body con style dress with these shoes, we like your dress taylor but not the shoes. And they look like they're too big? hmm

justin biebers milestone award

Just thought I'de post this at the end because, well I did ha :P Justin was awarded with 'Top Male Artist' trophy, and he thanked his family and "Belieber fan group."
He also commented about those who don't view him as a true artist: "I should be taken seriously. This other bull should not be spoken of." And I agree, however dogs are gonna bark, haters gonna hate as the Janoskians know. Everyone has haters, but I don't see how people can actually say Bieber isn't a proper artist, and I'm not saying everybody likes him. I know they don't, everyone has their own taste in music, but hes a good singer, Id like to see them try and sing better. I just don;t see the need to hate.

And in between the two award victories, Bieber treated the audience to another performance, this time as a sidekick to Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am. The pop pair played their recent collaboration "#thatPOWER

Last minute funeral outfit

So funerals obviously aren't a nice thing, but when it come to what to wear I get a little stuck. The funeral is tomorrow, and we only had time to stop off at a few places. Tesco Asda were the only ones we were near while we were out, and they both had so many so many different pairs of black trousers but literally, they had no shape. My mum told me off saying a funeral isn't another one of my catwalks! but this is what it was like

They were proper baggy, the only thing they fitted was my backside, I don't even no how to explain it! And they were too short, not going out in ankle swingers, I don't care if it's a funeral or not. My mum said if I don't find a pair of black trousers then I can't go.

I ended up not getting a pair any. So I've just come home and raided my wardrobe for an outfit I can put together. But the thing is I don't even wear black often.

I ended up finding these:

This top is really old, I think I got it when I was 11? anyway its from Asda's g:21 range and I like this because it's plain but has nice detail at the same time. It has layers of flower patterned lace material and a flower on one of the shoulders.

Then I have found out two black skirts - I think I have never even worn them.. I don't even remember getting them because I rarely wear skirts. It was probably my sister that snook them in my wardrobe without me knowing because I always hated her hand me downs. We dress completely different, I didn't really like her clothes and I liked having my own things. Any way, the skirt I chose has a label 'Tomorrows Nation' I have no idea where that's from, I've looked on Google and still don't no.

I had no idea if it was going to fit since its only 11-12, again, I should really sort through my stuff. I swear I have but I keep finding clothes with little ages on? It's just like a pencil skirt, so you can get these from almost clothing stores.

It's missing something that fastens the belt thing together, i'm thinking it may be black ribbon or something, I'll have to sort something out for tomorrow.

I'll finish off the outfit with a diamond cross necklace and black tights
you can get a necklace similar to this one from bhs and its reduced to £2!  These black tights are from newlook but they're in most fashion stores.

So here's the outfit all together. Basically a bunch of stuff from years ago that still fits. I still am puzzled as to why the trousers in stores were like long skirted ankle swingers 0.o But hey at least I can go now.
