FD Avenue - Funky Divaas new website - And 15% off!

So there's a 'new' online clothing store on the block. What we knew as Funky Divaa has gone away and come back as FD Avenue and they are looking good! ;) ... Keep reading if you want a FFH EXCLUSIVE code to get 15% on their store!

I have looked through the store and created a wishlist... As you do until you can afford them all :P Anyway, I though I would share my wish list with you all to show you some great pieces from FD Avenue at the moment. There are quite a few things on my list, infact I would buy nearly one of everything in the store if I could.

So my list is pretty long :P But FD Avenue stocks great clothes for winter, like the american flag hoody (I love), the knitted jumpers which go great with the combat pocket trousers which are in khaki or stone - I love these! They have tops that il go with almost anything, I love the one that says 'I'm Yours' :) I have already started buying clothesfor the next summer holiday too, so the crop tops like the 'Wanted' one and the bralet are great; shorts are one of my summer essentials, preferably short shorts and the studded black shorts are fab! Who loves onesies?! I proper want the american flag onsie like Nial Horan and Jedward wear! And the black onesie looks like the 'Jump In' design, me likey ;) and the onesies are only about £24.99 - BARGAIN! I have added some dresses too, and FD's dress range is mahoosive!

I am always reading endless fashion magazines, and seeing celebrities wearing pretty cool outfits. So I like to u them as inspiration, or try and re-create the look. I look through hundreds of fashion stores online and in shops to find as close a match as I can, and FD Avenue has so many key pieces I have been looking for! Like the 'wanted' crop top that Rihianna wore.

FD Avenue stock so many things... believe me my wishlist I have showed you is no way near finished, but they are my favourites anyway. And my wishlist would be great for all year round, cold or hot so it would be money well spent. And saying that, I think their prices are cheap and the clothes are really good quality and totally up to date with fashion. And if you are going somewhere hot too, you should checkout their swimming range! There are some really nice bikinis!! But they're not padded ones so unfortunatly I wouldn't wear them, but if you can wear them, you should definetly get them from FD Avenue

And now, as I promised you here is your 15% off discount code! Simply enter the code at the checkout, the code only lasts a month from today so hurry up and use it, the code is - FASHIONFIXHUNTER15 this code is exclusive to FFH, but feel free to share it if you like. I'm sure it will come in handy for your wishlist!!

What do you think of FD Avenue? and do you like anything on my wishlist?! please leave comments, sunscribe/follow this blog. Share this post and the discount offer too :) if you want to tweet or follow me, my twitter is @sammigirl1994 :)

Doll London Hoody

Sorry I han't blogged in a few weeks, I have been looking after a family member and busy at college. But the viewers are still shoouting up, so thank you all!... Well, when I got home from college, I found a parcel waiting for me. So I opened it up and there was my Doll London hoody! And I couldn't wait to try it on.

Anyway, I put the hoody on and it's so soft! It has a big pocket on the stomach which has a cutout where you can thread your headphone wires through and put your music player/phone safely in your pocket. You may have had a hoody with the headphone cutout before... But I haven't and I thought it's pretty cool :)

There is meabove wearing the hoody. I can't believe how soft it is! and because it's so cold now I can wear it with nearly any outfit for college, and it looks really nice with a body warmer... Mines pink :)

I have wore this hoody to college, and to catwalks in the dressing room. Because it's so comfy and I can wear my faux fur jacket underneath to keep me warm. Lots of people was asking where its from, and they really like it too. So if you want one, Doll London's website is not running yet; so you can use their facebook page here - http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.269074663194395.45888.264035663698295&type=3 As you know Christmas is comming up very fast, so you can get these as presents, thy're the perfect gift for a cold winter.

Let me now what you think of this hoody in the commets below, or tweet me on twitter - @sammigirl1994 :) got to go now,

Dice bracelet from BeadedBazaar

I recieved this lovely bracelet from BeadedBazaar who handmake all of their jewellery, they have lots of really cool pieces!

This is what the bracelet came in, it's a really nice silkiy gift bag. It's nearly christmas so they would make great gifts :)

Below is a photo of the bracelet close up. I absolutely love this bracelet! I do have really thin wrists so it is a little big for me, but it will do :) The bracelet has dice beads, black crystal beads, and gold beads that are really finely detailed and almoste look like lace.

Below is a photo of the golden clasp, it's nice and easy do do and not fiddly like some bracelets can be. If you like this bracelets like this you can get them from http://beadedbazaar.weebly.com/bracelets.html their stock is always changing, with new handmade items. And it's nice because they tell you a bit about how they actually made the bracelet too.

Quirky jewellery from HoobyNooWorld

I think it's safe to say Cher Lloyd is the queen of quirky jewellery! I love quirky jewellery, but some might think she's a bit crazy? I don't :) Anyway the reason why I'm talking about Cher Lloyd is because I recieved a necklace from  HoobyNooWorld and the first thing I knew this was her style.

Below on the left is the cute little parcel that came in the post, the necklace is wrapped in tissue paper and nice and bright ribbon which is perfect for their products - And also makes a great gift!  On the right is the charm on the necklace, it actually came with a profile card which was quite fun to read.. I'd like to introduce you to Isobella the Ice Cream ;)

I know winter is comming up, but honestly I'm still stuck in the summer mood! I can't wait to go back to turkey next year, and this is so going in my suitcase! This year I took so much jewellery and bracelets, I decided to wear it all on the journey to save weight and space... I had never been on a plane before, and so I had to take all the jewellery off just so they could put it through a scanner thing?! It took ages to put it all back on again!!.. But I am going to do that again next year, because I will have more jewellery to take :D
If your going to a sunny country and want to embrace it, get Isobella! :) Or maybe you want to warm up your winter? There's a really cool ice lolly one too. HoobyNooWorld have lots of quirky jewellery you can buy, just visit their website - http://hoobynooworld.bigcartel.com/ What do you think of quirky jewellery, and do you like Isobella?

two crafty unicorns - lip balm

I was sent this little lip balm from Two Crafty Unicorns it's nice and little and it's perfect to heep in your bag for whenever! It had a little orrange ribbon tied on top, which makes it more fancy and it would be a good gift (you can get them in packs of 12). You can get them in packs, different colours and flavours. This one is called Orange Tint..

Some balms can leave your lips feeling greesy or sticky, but the Orange Tint leaves them smooth and not to shiny with a slight colour. It has teeny weeny glitter/sparkles in so you don't get an over glossy look, you get a bit of sparkle. As you can see below:

what do you think of the balms? Please go check out Cfafty Unicorns website -  http://twocraftyunicorns.weebly.com/index.html they also sell hand painted false nails, which I have done a post about a set of those too. If you havn't already, there is a competition running to win a pack of strawberry curls! All you have to do is follow/join this blog (you can log in with your twitter so I can find you easier) and follow me on twitter then you're entered! :)
Please go follow Crafty Unicorns and me on Twitter.

Kerrys jewellery - review and photos

I recieved a parcel from Kerrys Jewellery when I got back from my holidays, which was a nice surprise! Any way I opened it up and heres what was inside...
There were lots of these cute little gift bags and I got really excited, if anybody loves jewellery.. It's me. I mean I wear bracelets and bandshalf way up my arm! I have no idea why I do it, but hey. Some girls love shoes and bags, and I love my jewellery! :)

Anyway, I have removed my jewellery and I'm ready to test out Kerrys Jewellery
Below is the bracelets I got from them, you could wear them all seperately but they look great all together! I've had some bracelets before (not cheap ones) and the elestic in them was really thin, literally like stretchy cotton. But these bracelets all have a thicker elasticand I doubt they will end up snapping! I was trying to think which one is my favourite, but I can't choose. The first bracelet (butterfly one) has these beads that are half blue/orange and that's a cool effect, I think it's like day and night. The four bracelets at the bottom all sparkle when the light hits them. The second to bottom, has a buttery charm on it too, and gems which I love :)

So I'vc not long been back from Turkey, and UEngland is really depressing - there's no sun, no swimming pool, no sea, it's too cold, I miss my friends and the food! I could keep listing reasons, but I'm wearing my sunglasses and pretending it's sunny :) Anyway in the picture is a necklace with matching turcoise beads to the bracelet. I think it's a great necklace to take on holiday, as its got pearly shells on it which I love to wear when I'm on holiday. It has elastic holding it together so it's stretchy...

Beacause it has elastic holding it together, you can wrap it around your wrist to create a layered bracelet. I wouldn't usually do this becasue each layer is usually the same, and that's to plain for me. But because this necklace has a range of beads, shells and gems, it creates a really nice bracelt that is different on every layer.

My camera is running out of power now with all the photo's I have taken today ahaa :) I managed to get one photo before it turned off and it will take ages to charge up now.. But here is another necklace (apologies for the manky lipstick stained wood, my sister got makeup all over the dressing table!) I love this necklace, it has cute little charms scattered around like boat wheels, butterflies, I'm going to say the other one is an anchor?... Well it goes with the theme, so it can be an anchor :) You can't wrap this one round your wrist as it has metal wire holding it together, but its a great necklace! :)

If you like any of this jewellery please go to Kerry's jewellery shop - click on the link, or use their widget portal down the side of the blog. Which piece of jewellery is your favourite? Anyway got to go now, very busy :)

Two Crafty Unicorns - Hello Kitty nails

To be honest, I wasn't a fan of false nails, I think I've only ever wore one pair from Claires years ago for a wedding, but they didn't look real enough for me. And my nails don't tend to fit false nails either. If you've saw my previous nail art posts, you would no that I like to paint my own nails with strange, bright and unique designs. However as FFH is now in collaboration with Two Crafty Unicorns I obviously had to  test them, photo them and blog about them. I was slightly worried about glueing them to my nails as removal can damage your nail, or leave them feeling bumpy.

Anyway, the little parcel arrived to my door and I love packaging (if its nice obviously), first impressions ALWAYS count! Here is what it looked like
Pretty cute right?! It comes with extra nails, so you can find ones that fit too. The little tube of glue came with the nails so I could apply them :)

My nails are quite long, and I didn't want to file them down so I kept the false nails long too.; but you can file yours down if you have short nails or if you just don't like long false nails. I was shocked by how real they looked! They are painted with OPI nail varnish, have little white spots on and a little hello kitty on each nail and then sealed so the polish doesn't crack. Even though I don't like other people painting my nails, and I only do my own... I was impressed! I didn't wear them on my holiday as I had painted Union Jacks on mine and rainbow tiger print on my thumb nails. But I would have wore them then, because I loved them! Obviosly going in the pool and sea most of the day every day may have damaged them too, so I have kept them and I can use them again because I didn't loose any :D

The nails came off nicely, not leaving any marks on my nails. But if you did happen to get lumps of glue remaining on your nails you can just use remover to get that off. Maybe a coat of nail strengthener afterwards - I have weak nails so I keep them as strong and healthy as I can :)

Here is a close up of one of the nails

What do you think of these false nails? would you wear them? :)

Rita Ora's Xfactor dress

The RIP songstress joined Tulisa, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh for the London auditions of The XFactor and boosted her already massive following with her judging style.
Looking funky self in a white-collared mini-dress, tartan trainers and her trademark red lipstick I knew this look was amazing! I have saw dresses before with a collar but to be honest I always thought they were weird and that I'de never wear one. Rita, you have changed my mind!

I have been searching the internet since the show trying to find a collared dress that wasn't really expensive, as I always look for affordable fashion to blog about. I was finding it pretty tough, eventually I found a pink dress and a black dress, but a white one I still couldn't find to write to feature on FFH, I literally only just found one and I am definetly going to buy it! :)

I wouldn't wear the pink dress, I prefer the white and the black, but youve got a choice to pick from :)
Do you think Rita Ora pulled this dress off and would you wear a dress like this?

Back from my holidays! :'(

Hi everybody! :D I havn't posted for about two weeks as I've just got back from Turkey... So sad :( I want to live there its the best country I've ever been to! It was amazing, maybe a bit to hot at times but thats what the pools there for :P Ill show you a few picture from my holiday because im nice :)

This was the view from the balcony, and there was a dolphin pen that we could see from our window. Looks amazing doesn't it?! Although I did prefer the pool to the sea, I thought I'd like all the fish swimming around me, turns out I didn't one bit!... One bit my knee cap! and it actually hurt a little D:

We went on a scuba diving boat one day but I didn't dive, I just went snorkeling. Which was quite scary because the fish were even bigger and circling around my feet. I was scared I was going to get eaten by a shark too, even though everybody said there are no sharks in Turkey? Here is something you will probably laugh at me for... I was to scared to swim away from the boat, so I stayed near it. Then some woman went and jumped in right behind me and just caught my leg... I was screaming shark and I was just about crying! Only to turn round and see a woman, who did say sorry but it was well embarrassing! Below is a picture of me snorkeling, without a snorkle. Them things arn't cool dude.

So heres the last picture of me, my friend I made there and her little sister on our last day in Turkey    :( Anyway the dress im wearing has no back, just two cross over straps and the dress is embellished really nicely. I look really tall on this photo too. I'm tall and my friend was small so I look very very tall :s

Turkey was definetly the best country ever, and I am so going to go back like every year! Oh and thank you all for using FFH! The viewings are shooting up loads! its amazing how well FFH is doing and it's not even been running for long I'm going to be walking in another fashion show in september, thinking of sharing some photos on here? anybody want to see them when I've done it? :D

Graffiti Nail art

Have you ever walked past some graffiti and thought, WOW thats some pretty cool stuff! I am not saying its right (because I don't agree with it at all), but there is some amazing artwork that goes into some of them. I think there should be places, like special walls for them where they can go paint the walls and people can go to look at them if they want to.

Anyway... more to the point. Some graffiti is inspiring, you can take a piece of graffiti and turn it into something new! Theres so many you can find thats pefect to do this!

I don't think the picture really does the nails justice, but anyway; I used graffiti to get this nail art design, again I used LA Colours nail varnish that I was given to do this - www.lacolours.com these are the main colours I used:
Then the pink and the black fine details are some cheap varnishes I got off of ebay. I will be adding video tutorials to do my nail art once ive got my camcorder, but for now heres the simple instructions :)

1 - paint the whole nail green (u did about three coats)
2 - from the outside to the in, swipe the black cross one side, then do the same for the other so you get a good triangle shape
3 - outline the black triagles with pink paint (nail art pen, coctail stick etc)
4 - DOODLE AWAY! :)
5 - add a top coat to keep the nail safe :)

So what do you think of using graffitti to inspire your nail art? Leave a comment and let me know, and follow/join this blog as theyll be lots of nail art to come! and if you like a good competition checkout this one! - http://fashionfixhunter.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/competition-win-pack-of-strawberry-curls.html - were giving away a pack of strawberry curls! :) follow me on twitter too- @sammigirl1994
