If you a follower of this blog you may of seen my post about How to fix damaged hair, if you haven't you can read it here if you want to. So because I have started being much healthier I also decided to look after everything and be happier about myself in general.
I have looked into ways of washing your hair which can damage or help it, what DIY masks you can make at home, what you can eat to help your hair to be healthier. I had heard of a hair perfume before but a lot of the reviews were bad saying it smelt like sugar (I don't think that one had any benefits for your hair). I like sugar, I love sugar! But I wouldn't wan't walk past someone and they be like 'she stinks of sugar'.. That would be weird ahaa.. You may as well have candy floss on your head.
*Nicki Minaj and lady gaga are both cool, but these hair styles remind me of candy floss. :P
I had been looking into hair perfumes that have good effects, not just smells good. I want my hair to look good, smell lush and feel good too :D
As you should already no, hair absorbs scents really well, which isn't a good thing - sometimes. Like if one of my friends smoke near me I can smell my hair later and they made it smell like fags *great* -.-
I proper hate the smell of cigarettes! D: Also, if I put perfume on before I go to college, the scent ends up fading away before the end of the day. I know some of my friends spray normal perfume in their hair (you shouldn't do this as it's not good for your hair and also dries it out). I remember seeing a hairdryer advertised yearsss ago that has hair perfume in it which it blows and infuses into your hair, but I never saw it again.. So I have got a product from Herra which is the hair perfume.
Herra's signature fragrance is a blend of the finest key notes creating a fresh modern, uplifting experience that appeals to all. The ingredients include: Italian bergamot, loquat fruit, midnight orchid, rose, white jasmine, mimosa, heliotrope, lily, vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood and musk.
The glycerin in it helps provide ample hydration and seals in moisture, without weighing down the hair. There is also sunflower extract protects the structure of the hair. It helps provide protection against UV and can prevent colour fade, whilst olive fruit extract is rich in antioxidants that help shield the hair against pollution and free radicals.
The box and the bottle both look really nice and really good quality. The name for this brand came from 'Hera, the Greek Goddess of beauty and fragrance' Herra felt this was the perfect fit.
If you spray normal perfume on your hair. please stop, it's not good for your hair!
You can get this Herra perfume here for £24.99, I only use a little bit so it lasts a long time. I mean it keeps your hair hydrated, protects against pollution - when I went to London with college I made sure I took this as the air there is different to where I live, it's like you can feel the polluted air :s It would be a great present for someone special at Christmas too!
What do you think of this product? Do you use a perfume or thinking of using one?
